Cosine are looking for Auditors / Compliance Advisors to visit retailers who operate the National Lottery to check that they comply with the UK age law for operating the lottery and do not sell to young people under the age of 16. £78 per day + business mileage. This is a full-time role although you may be asked to front load as many of your calls as possible.
Ideal location: Croydon, CR0
Territory covering: West Wickham, Croydon, Wandsworth, Sevenoaks and surrounding areas
The role:
As an auditor you will call into retailers who operate the National Lottery, speaking to the decision maker to ask a series of questions around how they deliver the lottery. You will offer help, support and education on how use the tools supplied by Camelot for the retailer to be a responsible seller and ensure that all staff know how to follow the safeguards and legal obligations of selling the lottery. There may be some follow up material to leave behind.
A successful candidate will:
• Work independently and be confident in providing the information provided, excellent communication skills are essential
• Have amazing attention to detail
• Good time management is required
• Have a smart device and be able to download a reporting app
• Be available to work all dates detailed below
Dates:
Briefing: Virtual training 3 OR 4 February 2021 – date TBC
Working hours and days: 7-hour day to be worked between 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, 31 days to be worked between 8 Feb – 19 March 2021
Pay: £78 per day
