We are looking for a Field Sales Team Manager to lead a team of Field Sales Executives on behalf of a leading Financial Services Company, taking accountability for the delivery of field sales team performance to meet targets whilst ensuring compliance is achieved. £31,500 per year, up to £15,000 bonus, company car, tablet and phone.

As an experienced field sales team manager, you will take direct responsibility for recruiting, coaching, developing, motivating and monitoring each individual Field Sales Executive.

The team’s primary objective is to contact, present and sell the benefits of taking card payments to eligible businesses thereby converting them into becoming card ‘accepting’ businesses. The field sales team own the end to end sales process.

What will you be doing?
• Developing a highly motivated, successful team of 15 Field Sales Executives to drive and deliver results.
• Taking a leading role in defining how the sales programme can support the clients’ overall business objectives.
• Delivering regular 1:1 reviews to assess performance and create individual development/action plans, supporting new and existing Field Sales Executives.
• You will be required to lead regular team meetings and other training/briefing meetings as requested by your line manager.

To succeed, you will have
• Proven experience in a field sales team management role, managing and developing Field Sales teams, ideally in the SME sector, to drive performance against quality targets and monitor performance standards
• Strong communication and presentation skills and proven experience in delivery of highly effective training
• Planning and organisational experience, comfortable taking a leading role in projects
• Passion and energy to constantly improve, challenging ways of working and considering new approaches.
• Experience of maintaining delivery within a fast-changing environment
• A full UK driving licence.

When will I work?
• You will work an average of 37.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday

To be successful in this role you have field sales team management experience, or team management experience in a target driven environment, with some experience of field sales and managing a team remotely.
