Are you a design magpie with a passion for creating beautifully effective design work for the retail space and shopper marketing?

We’re looking for a highly motivated and resourceful Mid-weight to Senior integrated designer who will bring their passion, crafting skills and pragmatism to the creative output of the agency in Thame, Oxfordshire at a really exciting phase of its development. We want you to become a key cog in our creative department. With your experience creating and executing concepts and crafting visual designs you will meet the parameters of the creative briefs with a confidence and enthusiasm.

Experience working within retail/shopper background and willingness to learn the strategic reasons for how we communicate and execute is necessary – but a passion and eagerness to learn and develop our design and execution output is key.

What will I be doing?
• Reporting into the Creative Director you will work on projects for big named B2C brands across the whole path to purchase of a brand including moving image, to print, to digital comms, events and point of sale material.
• Creating multi-channel campaign designs to answer activation, shopper, digital and experiential briefs.
• Confidence in presenting creative and design concepts to clients and developing a good working relationship with them.
• Handling type, photography, layout, colour treatment and overall visuals campaign aesthetics. Champion brand consistency and help develop the look and feel of the creative output.
• Can successfully navigate and challenge a strategy.
• Fluent understanding of current digital design trends for including, Web, Mobile, Tablet, 3D visualisation.

What skills do I need?
• Ability to ‘mac visualise’ ideas to high-quality outcome from a given sketch or verbal direction.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Able to work at high pace.
• Retouching skills are a big bonus to be able to create new campaign assets from multiple photographs/visuals.
• Ability to communicate ideas in a professional manner. With Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills.
• Ability to create superb layouts and accurate final artwork where necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation. Demonstrated through actively and effectively managing timelines and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously, some with short turnaround times.
• Significant understanding of how shoppers’ shop and how retail design can influence the overall shopper experience.
• Understands key tenants of interactive design, including human-centered design, UX and understands the differences in multi-platform design including POS, web-based design, mobile, rich media, interactive kiosks and more besides.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, within an agency environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, Design, or related field.
• Proficient in graphic software's including Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.

Travel:
Based on the requirements and location of the account being serviced.
