TPN Account Director – 18m fixed term contract

We are looking for a talented, passionate and retail-focused Account Director to work with our team and clients, who are a joy to work with! Our agency is based in Thame, Oxfordshire and is at a really exciting phase of its development. If you have experience leading client account plans and projects and can develop brand-building initiatives and you are looking for a fresh challenge in a fun, dynamic and expanding agency, this could be the ideal move for you.

Your Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for client business planning management providing relevant key insights, strategic thinking and leadership related to all aspects of the business
• Works with direct reports to develop and execute all major presentations/projects
• Managing, coaching and developing direct reports
• Responsible for overall account performance
• Financial
o Builds and negotiates client fees and retainers
o Monitors and manages financial performance for and within team (i.e. accounting relationship, scorecards)
• Works with client to understand agency role and performance requirements
• Conducts client feedback check points and appropriate formal reviews
• Keeps Senior Management and team abreast of performance (i.e.: client input, areas of improvement)
• Team dynamics - Maintains pulse of work environment

Your experience:
• Ideally 8+ years’ experience within a Creative Marketing Agency in a senior account management position managing client's requirements
• Shopper marketing and e-commerce experience is ideal across, FMCG, DIY or Mobile Comms but not essential
• Proven people management experience
• An expert in building internal/external relationships
• Strategic assessment
o Able to ask the right questions
o Make the necessary intuitive connections to evaluate opportunities and draw conclusions
o Sees the big picture and makes decisions towards achieving future goals
o Provides vision and direction
• Has strong presentation skills both verbally and visually
• Financial management
o Understands and respects the budget
o Understands the financials and how it relates to client profitability

Job Type: Fixed term 18m contract. We’re an expanding business with ambitions and plans to grow further over the course of this contract period, which may lead to a full time position.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Location: Thame, Oxfordshire
£45,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience plus car allowance
