ACCOUNT MANAGER – EXPERIENTIAL
BACKGROUND
Hyphen (a brand within the Omnicom Group) specialises in creating amazing brand experiences for clients, through delivery of experiential and live events. The business already has some great clients but we’re in start-up mentality, with an ambitious growth plan and a new leader and we’re now on the lookout for a fantastic, creative, Account Manager to join our small but perfectly formed team.
In this role you will develop, and project manage live event & experiential campaigns, aligned to Vodafone brand strategy across the UK, that engage their current/future consumers and work to ensure that all elements of the project deliver client delight!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Main duties include:
• Harnessing creativity – from coming up with creative ideas in response to client briefs, to driving brainstorms, through to managing the 2D and 3D creative process.
• Client servicing – you will be the main point of contact for Vodafone ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, with flair. You will be expected to set agendas, manage meetings and drive forward actions whilst developing lasting and genuine relationships.
• Set up project and manage multi- functional team to deliver the most creative, cost & time effective solution for the client.
• To create an optimised solution for Vodafone when pitching for new business and ensure financial management of live campaigns within agreed sales and profit parameters.
• Creating cost estimates, negotiating best rates, protecting margins and reconciling projects. You can expect to manage budgets of £250k+.
• People management – be that a line reportee or colleagues within other areas of the business such as creative designers, implementation and onsite event management teams and suppliers. You will be the ‘glue’ that holds a project together.
• Live event management – ensuring your live event/s run smoothly from set-up through to breakdown including overseeing the production/ build and logistics processes.
• People person – executing all of the above with a smile on your face and a spring in your step.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• At least 2 years client management experience across B2C events/experiential campaigns.
• Proven experience of managing end-to-end projects in a similar environment.
• Can-do attitude and oodles of passion for live events and experiential marketing.
• Experience of analysing data and drawing insight to develop new business opportunities.
• Numerate / able to manage budgets and identify key opportunities and efficiencies in order to drive greater profitability.
• Displaying an understanding of how events and experiential fit within the full marketing mix especially around social would be highly advantageous.
The role requires activity outside of normal working hours. This may include travelling across the UK and staying away from home as well as working unsociable hours including weekends.

WHATS IN IT FOR ME
In exchange for your skills and experience, you’ll receive up to £30,000 p/a, plus car allowance and attractive benefit package.
Hyphen is a boutique agency and so flexibility and team working is key. The role would be able to work from home a day or two per week and choose working hours ensuring key hours are covered i.e. 10-4. The office will be based in Thame, Oxon.
