Hyphen are looking for Brand Ambassadors in city centre locations across the UK. This role is representing Vodafone, promoting their Gigafast product. We pay £15.00 per hour plus mileage.

Location: Peterborough

The Role:
This role is to work solely on Vodafone – promoting the brand and their products. Vodafone launched Gigafast back in 2018 and we have had teams of Brand Ambassadors out on the road, in areas of Gigafast coverage, to promote the product to the public to buy. In recent months, Gigafast has been launched in new cities in the UK, now totalling 15 cities of coverage. This role is about promoting the product and gathering data from people in those cities.

As Brand Ambassador, you’ll be responsible for lead generation to, ultimately, drive sales of Vodafone Gigafast broadband within the region, by engaging with potential customers. You will be gathering data that will be passed on to Vodafone’s call centre to follow up for sales. Working closely with the rest of the team, and with frequent exposure to the client on site, you’ll represent Vodafone in accordance with the brand image, to generate and open sales opportunities. The role will hold the responsibility for contributing to the overall KPI’s on a daily basis, alongside the rest of the team.

You will be based in a city centre location, either with a Vodafone branded promotional vehicle, a marquee or roaming. You’ll need to think proactively during quiet days and/or quieter locations. You must be comfortable working in public venues where there may be a large volume of footfall.

Key Responsibilities:
• General
o At all times, be aware that you are the face of Vodafone – representing their brand
o Engage with customers and answer questions about the product whilst showcasing the brand image to gain customer buy in and loyalty
o Be proactive in delivering the brand message/product information in an engaging and immersive way
o Client liaison for Vodafone Regional Manager and store staff, when in a location with close proximity to the Vodafone store
o Supporting set up of the activation space
o Think on your feet and be solution focussed in any situation that arises
o Communicate any issues to the Team Leader in a timely manner to ensure quick resolution
o Responsible for kit provided e.g. iPad
• Lead Generation
o Approaching the public to talk to them about Vodafone Gigafast and Superfast
o Achieve a specific target of a minimum of two RYI’s per hour
o Aim to minimise the volume of cancellations by establishing decision makers and appropriately sell the product to customers
o Support the wider Vodafone sales strategy by pitching additional products and services as part of the process
o Delivery against KPI's using initiative and strong IPS
o Collecting of all data must be completed in accordance with GDPR guidelines.
• Reporting
o All RYI’s should be reported in a timely and accurate fashion via Salesforce
o Ensure correct customer details and data are captured during all decision maker interactions.

Your Experience:
We are looking for people who are naturally friendly, personable, high-energy and professional. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. We require a can-do attitude and oodles of passion for brands.
• Essential
o Demonstrate proven experience of Brand Ambassador activation across multiple activities
o Experience of achieving target-based activations
o Experience of working with data capture
o Strong track record of hitting campaign KPI’s
o Excellent communication skills
o Proven experience of working in a team
o Integrity when dealing with people’s sensitive personal data
o Must live within one of the Gigafast cities
o Full valid UK driving license
o Pass a DBS check
• Preferred
o Proven experience of activating experiential
o Experience of working with mobile phone brands and or technology
o Technical product demonstrations
o Additional languages

Timing and Hours:
• We are hoping to be live again as soon as Lockdown is lifted at the beginning of December.
• Working hours between 0700 – 2100
• We will offer a minimum of 6.5 hours per day
• Your working week will generally be Wednesday to Sunday but again, this may vary.
• Your lunch hour will be paid for as part of your working day and your travel will be covered on expenses.

Training and GO LIVE!!!
• 4th & 5th January 2021 (2 days training)
• Go live from 6th January 2021 until
March 2021.
